I completed my articles with Kessel Feinstein (Chartered Accountants) Thereafter I joined Bruk Munkes & Co (Chartered Accountants), During my 20 years with them, I rose from Senior to Audit Manager and then to an Associate of the firm. As an Associate of the firm, I dealt with a large variety of clients and oversaw the staff of the firm, as well as the operation of the firm itself.
In 2006 I decided to start my own practice, currently known as Y Vassen & Associates, based in Harfield Village, Claremont.
Y Vassen & Associates prides in providing personalised services in the fields of accounting, taxation and other financial accounting services.
We comply with all requirements of the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and use e-filing to give you the quickest tax results.
We also have an online account with the Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission (CIPC), enabling us to produce rapid results while keeping up to date with the latest requirements.
All processing and preparation of financial statements are personally reviewed by the business founder, Yashvant Vassen, enhancing the personalised aspect of the practice.
Although we are based in Claremont, Cape Town, we are willing and able to service clients throughout the Western Cape and the rest of the country.
